Electrical & Electronic Engineer

We have a position for an engineer to provide support services to our customers in the UK and Ireland.

SiTEST supply a diverse range of equipment including Cable Testing, Ultrasonic Wire Bonding, Laserbonding & Web Inspection Systems.
Job duties to include undertaking installations, commissioning, servicing and basic training of our equipment to customers. Training will be given in the UK and at our European Supplier facilities.

The prospective engineer would be expected to travel, sometimes at short notice, so we would recommend a home situation that would allow everyday visits to customers, although we try to aim for scheduled visits.

Role:

-Semiconductor & Micro-Electronic experience (Wirebonding etc.) a bonus but not a pre-requisite
-Design Skills
-Adaptable / Varied day to day
-Must be prepared to travel (UK driving licence required)
-British Nationality required, as some of our Military Customer Base undertake stringent background checks
-Happy to train and develop a young starter.
-Intellect, positive attitude & problem solving skills are highly valued.

Ideally, the candidate will be located in the Dorset/Hants area and be qualified to ONC/HNC level, although, we, at SiTEST tend to admire capability and enthusiasm over qualifications.
Salary will be dependent on age and experience, a Company (pool) car will be part of the package.
